Straight from the paddock

“We booked the Grand Prix for my brother's 30th. Qualifying made it properly competitive, and the podium photos were the highlight of the night.”

Rachel M.

“My son is nine and was nervous about the speed. The junior marshal was brilliant with him, and by the third lap he was chasing his own times.”

Daniel K.

Junior Cadet

“We brought 24 people for a team day. Race control kept it fair, the lounge was ready when we came off track, and nobody stopped talking about it for weeks.”

FAQ

Before you race

Still wondering about something? Add it to the notes on your booking request and we will answer when we confirm.

How old do I need to be to race?

Juniors aged 8 to 13 race in cadet karts capped at 20 mph and need to be at least 4 ft tall. Adult karts are for drivers aged 14 and over who are at least 4 ft 11 in tall.

Do I need any racing experience?

None at all. Every session starts with a 10-minute briefing, and the karts only have an accelerator and a brake. Marshals stay trackside the whole time.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Tie back long hair and leave scarves in a locker. We provide helmets, balaclavas and rain suits.

How early should I arrive?

30 minutes before your session, so there is time to check in, sign the waiver and get your gear on.

What happens if it rains?

We race in the wet, and rain suits are free. If there is lightning or the track is unsafe, we move your booking to another day at no cost.

Can friends and family watch?

Yes. The viewing deck overlooks the hairpin and the finish line, spectating is free, and the café serves drinks and snacks all day.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Change your date or time for free up to 24 hours before your session. Inside 24 hours, we will move it once at no cost whenever we can fit you in.
